GENTLE YOGA

Many of us are nursing an injury, overworked, or simply need to be nurtured. Sometimes less is very much, more. Through restorative yoga, assisted stretching, aromatherapy, reiki, and acupressure, Gentle Yoga is designed to suit your needs.  Sessions promote healing, because as the body is nourished, energy is freed up for your recovery. 

YOGA
Transform to levels of strength, flexibility, & balance you didn't think were possible!  Sessions include, attention to proper alignment, hands-on adjustment, the use of props, vinyasa flow, and corework.  Yoga offers a unique approach to fitness: First, it helps unwind the cumulative effects of poor posturing (from driving, computers, and even fitness/dance training).  Second, it allows you the space to breathe, deep breathing is the main tool we have to calm and de-stress the entire body.  Third, it's focus on flexibility helps you build true strength, as "strong but inflexible" muscles are prone to injury. 

CORE WORK
The group of ab and back muscles, referred to as your "Core" are essential to supporting your posture, and ultimately, every movement you make. Through Pilates & Forrest Yoga techniques, sessions not only strengthen the Core, but help re-educate other muscles so that they rely more on the Core. The result is stronger, more fluid, and healthy movement.
